Shipping Policy
At Ornate India, we ship authentic Indian handicrafts and home décor pieces to international wholesale buyers. We aim to make the shipping process transparent and smooth. Please read the following terms before placing your order.
1. Order Processing Time
Processing time varies depending on the product, order quantity, and finishing requirements.

The exact production and dispatch timeline (for both sample and bulk orders) will be shared and confirmed before order acceptance.

Custom / Private Label orders depend on design, quantity, and packaging needs, and timelines are communicated in advance.
Orders are not processed on Sundays or Indian public holidays.
2. Shipping Method
We ship through trusted international courier companies or freight forwarders based on order size and destination.
Small and medium shipments are usually sent by express courier.
Large wholesale shipments may be sent by air cargo or sea freight.
Tracking details are shared via email once the shipment is dispatched.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping cost depends on order weight, volume, destination country, and selected shipping method.
Final shipping charges are shared with the buyer before order confirmation.
4. Customs Duties & Taxes
All shipments are sent under Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) terms.
Buyers are responsible for any import duties, customs clearance fees, VAT, or local taxes applicable in their country.
5. Delivery & Inspection
We request buyers to inspect shipments at the time of delivery.
If outer packaging shows visible damage, please note it with the courier agent and take photographs.
Any damage or issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
6. Responsibility After Dispatch
Once the shipment is handed over to the courier or freight partner, Ornate India is not responsible for delays or loss during transit. However, we will assist buyers in tracking and communication with the logistics provider.
7. Force Majeure
Ornate India is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including customs holds, government regulations, natural disasters, strikes, or transportation disruptions.
8. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order with Ornate India, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
All disputes, if any, are subject to Indian law and jurisdiction.
